Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Pinot Noir, very cold
  • 1 liter soda, ginger ale type
  • ½ cup cherries
  • ½ cup Grand Marnier or orange liquor

Servings: 6

Preparation

First, use the clear soda to make ice cubes, putting the cherries (pitted) inside the cubes.

Put the previously refrigerated Pinot Noir in the blender with the ½ cup of Grand Marnier and the cherry ice cubes. Blend until obtaining a slushy with small ice crystals.

Serve immediately in low glasses and decorate with fresh cherries.

“Red wines are drank at lower temperatures the less body they have, which makes Pinot Noir the ideal vine for a cold preparation. Its classic cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant scents make it the perfect partner for a refreshing cherry slushy.”
