Cut the strawberries in halves, or you can use them whole if they are small, and put in the same jar or container where it will be served with sugar.
Ideally, leave the strawberries until the sugar has dissolved completely and you can see some strawberry juice at the bottom.
Add ice and wine, mix, and done!
