Quinoa balls with blueberries and raspberries

  • ½ cup rinsed quinoa
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup peanut paste
  • 20 blueberries
  • 2 tsp syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp honey
  • A pinch of salt

Raspberry sauce:

  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Ingredients for 20 balls


In a small pot, boil the quinoa and water, stir, and cover the pot. Lower the heat and simmer until all the water has been absorbed, around 10-15 minutes.

Once the quinoa is cooked, allow to cool. Add the rest of he ingredients (except for the blueberries) and mix well. Make little balls with the mixture, and once they are formed, make a hole in the middle to put one blueberry, then round the balls again. Leave in the freezer for around 30 minutes so that they are firm.

Store in the fridge.

For the raspberry sauce, boil all the ingredients, then turn off the heat and grind the raspberries using a food processor until smooth.
