Strawberry-mint Burgundy wine

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)


Thinly dice the strawberries and mince the mint. Put in a bowl and allow to sit with the sugar for 20 minutes in the fridge.

Then put the macerated strawberries in a jug and add red wine. Allow to rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Serve cold, with ice and a mint sprig in the wine glass.
