Ingredients

  • 2 large pork sirloin steaks
  • 2 packages of asparagus
  • 1 lb Hortifrut raspberries
  • Buy another package of fresh Hortifrut raspberries for decoration
  • 9 oz sugar
  • 3.4 fl oz white wine
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sage

Preparation

Raspberry sauce preparation

The first thing to do is rinse the raspberries; if there are any damaged parts, remove them. Then strain them drain the water they may have.
Next, put the sugar and water in a pot and simmer to make the syrup. Allow it to cook, without letting it turn into caramel. That is, it must be transparent and liquid.

Once the syrup is done, add the raspberries and cornstarch until obtaining the desired consistency. For that, you have to stir constantly and prevent it from sticking or burning.

Then add the wine and allow it to evaporate a little until the mixture is a bit thicker.

Remove the pot from the heat, and you will have your raspberry sauce to serve along with the sirloin.

Pork sirloin preparation

Chop the sirloin steaks, season with salt and pepper, and sear then in a pan.

Remove the sirloin steaks from the heat and set aside. Once the sirloin steaks are done, take them out of the pan, serve them on a dish along with the asparagus, pour some sauce on top, and decorate with fresh raspberries. Pour the rest of the sauce in a small dish for each guest to take as much as they wish.
