Ingredients

  • 7 oz Pacific pomfret
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 4 nori sheets
  • Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

For the rice:

  • 1 lb 2 oz Japanese rice or round-grain rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 3.4 fl oz (100 cc) rice vinegar
  • 2 oz sugar
  • 2 tsp mirin (apple cider vinegar)
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

Rinse the rice under cold water until it comes out clear. Then put in a pot and add cold water. Cook until the water starts to boil, lower the heat, and allow to cook for 12 minutes.

Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, mirin, salt, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add this seasoning to the rice and stir so it cools off completely.

Dice the Pacific pomfret, slice the strawberries, cut the cream cheese into sticks, and dice the avocado.

Put the nori seaweed on a rolling mat covered with plastic wrap, then put a ball of rice on top and crush it until forming a square.

Fill and roll into a cone shape.
