Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp raw honey (optional)
  • ½ cup purified water, or more

Preparation

Put all the ingredients together in a blender and blend until the seeds are ground. If you think it is too thick, you may add more purified water, and if you like it very cold, you may add some ice cubes or freeze the berries before making the smoothie.

Ideally use a high-speed blender or be a little more patient with the regular blender, until obtaining a really smooth consistency.

Tips:

This smoothie is a nutrient and antioxidant bomb, just what the body needs to clean, detox, and eliminate what it doesn’t need. When we are well nourished, with foods that are easy to digest and absorb, like berries, our body can perform other tasks with greater dedication and not spend so much energy digesting. Then the body can do a sort of deep cleaning.

Berries are magical. Their main power comes from antioxidants, miraculous free radical eliminators.

Antioxidants mean life, while oxidation means death.

We need these antioxidants to fight the aging process (oxidation).
