(2 glasses)

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup banana, peeled, chopped and frozen
  • ¼ cup raw cashews, soaked in 1 cup of water or 1 cup of almond milk
  • A piece of ginger, about 1 x 1 cm (0.4 x 0.4 inches)

A creamy smoothie, with the purple antioxidant touch of blackberries, source of vitamin C, vitamin K and polyphenols, and the amazing ginger used for centuries as a natural remedy by different cultures for its anti-inflammatory properties and multiple benefits.


Making smoothies with the perfect consistency is easier if you use a high-speed blender.

Add all the ingredients together. Ideally, blend until the ginger pieces are well ground. If you think it’s too thick, you can add more purified water.

If you like it very cold, you can add some ice cubes or previously freeze all the ingredients in a sealable bag.
