  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp self-rising flour
  • Caramel sauce for serving
  • Almonds for decoration
  • Raspberries

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp liquid vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 360°F. Cover a pie mold with parchment paper and butter it. Sprinkle the tablespoon of brown sugar on the paper. Arranged the sliced apples in an orderly manner over the brown sugar. Beat the eggs with oil in a mixer and then add sugar, vanilla extract, milk and flour. Pour the mixture over the apples without messing them up. Bake at 340°F for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool for 3 minutes and turn over into the serving dish.

Stir the sugar with the water in a pot over low heat. Leave still until reaching an amber tone.
Cover for a minute so that the sugar crystals dissolve.
Remove the pot from the heat and add the butter and evaporated milk.
Return the mixture to the heat until all ingredients are dissolved and mixed.

Serve warm with almonds and raspberries!
