  • 2 lb physalis
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


Use only the fruit of the physalis and cut them into quarters.

In a large pot, add all the ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Once the sugar has melted and the mixture starts to boil (after around 3-4 minutes), bring the heat to medium-low and cook for 25-30 minutes. Check the texture.

Once cold, pour the jam in a jar. And there you have it, a delicious Christmas gift.
